The Bashan Foundation is a not-for-profit organization (Charity) founded in 1999. Its main mission is to build trusted digital archives for scholarship and scholars mainly in developing countries who lack reliable access to most scientific information. It presents scholarly information created by its members and aims to preserve their scientific work to assist in building research initiatives that promotes the discovery and use of these information resources for all mankind and especially for developing countries.
The Bashan Foundation is a repository of scientific knowledge (an open-to-the-public scientific data bank). It is its nature to acquire more data, to continually add it to our collective knowledge and to provide it, free of charge, to any scientist who needs it.
The Bashan Foundation is based on the belief that scientific knowledge belongs to all mankind without restrictions.
